RUDY the Dog needs a home
Hi, my name is RUDY and I would love to meet you. I am a Neutered Male Dachshund mix. The shelter staff think I am about 4 months old. I have been at the shelter since Dec 11, 2017.
Don`t let my lazy pose fool you - I`m Rudy, and I`m RARIN` to go!!!!! When I came to the shelter as a stray, I was scared and confused, didn`t know how to tell the peeps here what was on my mind. But they have REALLY good food and I`m not a pup to pass up a hot dog slice or two! I`ve moved into a foster home and now I`m pretty sure what kind of family I`m looking for. I am NOT anyone`s lap dog, let me get that right out into the open! In fact I think I would love to try those canine sports like agility or flyball - my foster family has been impressed with my jumping abilities and I will play fetch for HOURS. Once I`ve had my exercise for the day I do prefer to take my naps on someone`s lap but it doesn`t take much time for me to recharge and be ready to go again! I`d love another active dog to play with, and my foster family says I`m really smart because I`m so quick to learn not to potty in the house. I confess that I do like to chase the cat, though, but honestly - I`m just trying to play! I`m ready to be the star of any puppy class! As for humans, I really am best suited to teenas and adults.
